Built around live performance

Less paper. Less screen tapping. More control over the set.

gigPrompter v1.0 gives singers, guitarists, bands, worship teams, and event musicians an editable songbook, flexible setlists, synchronized Band Member displays, programmable pedal controls, and independent stage output.

Different performers, one core problem

The chart has to stay readable while the performance keeps moving.

gigPrompter keeps songs, keys, tempo, cues, set order, prompting, and stage controls in one musician-focused workflow.

Solo performers

Carry editable lyrics, chords, notes, tempos, set order, metronome, and hands-free controls on one iPhone or iPad.

Cover bands

Handle requests with Play Now, jump with Play From Here, transpose quickly, and keep up to six nearby Band Members on the same song position.

Worship teams

Keep musician chord charts on their devices while sending lyrics-only congregation output over HDMI or AirPlay with image or slideshow backgrounds.

Rehearsals

Import and edit charts, set BPM and count-in, refine keys and capo positions, and use the same local song files on stage.

Wedding and event musicians

Keep special requests, cues, introductions, alternate keys, and flexible setlist order available during one-off performances.

Cue-heavy productions

Use section/cue rows, notes, programmable pedal commands, manual Leader repositioning, and external lyrics output for structured shows.

Stage setups

Use gigPrompter at the scale your performance needs.

Run a single-device show, add programmable hands-free control, synchronize nearby Band Members, or send clean lyrics to a larger external display.

01

Single-device performer

Mount an iPhone or iPad near the microphone or instrument position and use the built-in performance view.

  • Smooth BPM-based scrolling
  • Tap-to-start from a lyric
  • Manual finger repositioning
  • Display colors and lyric dimming
02

Hands-free performer

Add a Bluetooth keyboard/HID pedal and map its keys to the commands that fit your stage workflow.

  • Play / Pause
  • Previous / Next Line
  • Previous / Next Song
  • Key, tempo, and metronome commands
03

Leader + Band Members

One Leader can synchronize up to six nearby receive-only Member devices.

  • Shared live song position
  • Member-local display size and orientation
  • Member-local capo position
  • Leader remains the sole transport controller
04

Congregation / stage display

Send lyrics-only output through HDMI or AirPlay while musicians retain their own chord charts and controls.

  • Independent external scene
  • Lyrics-only output
  • Image or slideshow backgrounds
  • Setlist-controlled background selection

For guitarists and instrumentalists

Keep both hands on the instrument.

Programmable pedal control handles line navigation, song navigation, key, tempo, metronome mode, and Play/Pause. Line, key, tempo, and metronome adjustments preserve the current transport state so the song does not pause just because the chart changed.

  • Chord and slash-chord transposition
  • Original-key reset and sharp/flat preference
  • Nashville-number conversion
  • Programmable Bluetooth pedal mapping
  • Local Member capo chord-shape display

For vocalists and worship teams

Give performers their chart and the audience only the lyrics.

Musicians can keep chords, tempo, notes, and controls on their own devices while the external HDMI/AirPlay scene shows lyrics-only content. Background images and slideshows can be selected from setlist setup for congregation or presentation use.

  • High-contrast lyrics and chords
  • Band Member synchronization for nearby musicians
  • Lyrics-only external output
  • Setlist-controlled image or slideshow backgrounds
