gigPrompter v1.0 App Data Collection
gigPrompter is designed to keep your song library and performance information on your device.
Data Not Collected
gigPrompter does not collect personal information, song content, setlists, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, location information, contacts, or diagnostic information through a gigPrompter-operated service.
No account, advertising, analytics, or tracking
The app does not require a gigPrompter account and does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or gigPrompter-operated song/content upload.
Local song and setlist storage
Songs, setlists, imported text, converted PDF content, performance state, and app settings are stored locally on the device. Content leaves the device only when the user deliberately uses Apple system features or another service to export, share, copy, or back it up.
PDF and text import
Text extraction and optical character recognition for imported PDFs are performed on the device using Apple system frameworks. Source PDFs, recognized text, and converted songs are not uploaded to gigPrompter.
External displays, pedals, and nearby Band Members
HDMI, AirPlay, Bluetooth keyboard/HID pedals, and nearby Leader/Band Member synchronization use Apple platform capabilities and hardware selected by the user. Band performance synchronization is local peer-to-peer communication and is not sent through a gigPrompter-operated server.
StoreKit subscriptions and seven-day trial
Apple StoreKit supplies subscription product information, current entitlement status, and introductory-offer eligibility. Eligible users can start Apple’s native seven-day introductory free trial through Apple’s purchase sheet. Apple processes subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and trial eligibility under Apple’s privacy practices.
Website contact is separate
If you contact us through gigprompter.com or by email, the information you voluntarily provide is used to respond to your inquiry. Website contact information is separate from the app and does not provide access to your song library.
